Holywell Bay School of Surf is the original surf school set up on the beach, now in its 10th year we have gained a great reputation for only running lessons when there is adequate surf and not putting students in when its unrideable. Our team of instructors are all local surfers and lifeguards brought up on the waves of Holywell Bay . This is turn makes them highly knowledgeable of sand banks and rip currents that can occur. This home grown experience, coupled with the professionalism of all instructors ensures you are in the safest hands at all times.

The Surf School is located right on the beach front next to the Holywell Bay Surf Life Saving Club which means unlike many other schools you don't have to drag the boards across the beach first taking up a large part of the lesson!

The school runs lessons for children as young as 8 and people of all abilities. Our priority is to give you a basic grasp of surfing and hopefully get you up, riding the waves as quickly and as safely as possible. Of course we cannot stand up for you, but the main aim is for you to enjoy the lesson and to walk away with a basic knowledge of surfing.
